Kwato Island, is an boomerang shaped island, situated west of Samarai Island, Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea.
It was once a striving Christian Mission station. The island is the home to a national heritage church building that sits at the highest peak of the island.
Most of its human habitants have moved away to other parts of the country, descendent's of pioneers have traveled and migrated to foreign lands.....
